Description
A back valve is a ventilation component installed in the ventilation duct to prevent air backflow. When the fan is not operating, air from the ventilation system or the outside can enter the fan, causing several negative effects—ranging from room cooling and the entry of dirty air in winter to the spread of mold and fungi that have settled in the ventilation system.
The back valve ensures airflow in only one direction without significantly reducing the fan’s efficiency.
